What is a Roof Protection Inspection?
Most roofing companies inspect your roof looking for a sale. We inspect your roof looking for the truth. A Roof Protection Inspection is a thorough, no-cost evaluation of your roof's condition — and every one comes with a free Roof Protection Report: a clear, photo-documented record of what your roof looks like today.
Why does that matter? Because in North Texas, it's not if a storm hits your roof, it's when. When it does, having a dated, documented baseline of your roof's condition before the storm gives you clear documentation to share with your insurance company if you file a claim.
What we check
We look at your entire roofing system, inside and out:
- Shingles, tiles or panels on every slope — hail hits, granule loss, cracks, lifting and wear
- Flashing at walls, chimneys, skylights and valleys
- Pipe boots, vents and other penetrations
- Gutters, downspouts and soft metals (often the first place hail shows)
- Decking condition, sagging or soft spots
- Attic ventilation, moisture and signs of past leaks where accessible
Your free Roof Protection Report
After the inspection, you receive a Roof Protection Report with photos, notes and our honest recommendation. If your roof is healthy, we'll tell you — and you'll have documentation for your records. If there's wear, we'll tell you what to watch and what it might cost to address. If there's storm damage, we'll explain your options and how we can provide documentation to support your insurance claim.
There's no pressure and no obligation. Many homeowners simply keep their report on file and call us after the next big storm so we can compare.
When to schedule an inspection
We recommend a Roof Protection Inspection before spring storm season, after any hail or high-wind event in your area, when buying or selling a home, and any time you notice a ceiling stain, missing shingles or granules collecting in your gutters. Hail damage often isn't visible from the ground, so even if your roof looks fine from the driveway, a close-up look is worth it.
