The Project:
One of our earliest customers in Rowlett owned a beautiful single-story home topped with 35 solar panels. When we first met, their roof was worn and overdue for a full replacement. The Insurance Saga:
We filed a claim with Allstate and were initially denied. Not once, but twice. We kept pushing, scheduling multiple inspections with the carrier until we secured full approval for the roof replacement.
But the challenges didn’t stop there:
- The first insurance payment was mailed to the wrong address—an address the homeowner hadn’t lived at in over 12 years.
- Once the new check arrived, it had to be endorsed by the mortgage company, adding more delays.
- And during this entire process, the homeowner suffered a serious motorcycle accident, breaking multiple bones from ribs to neck vertebrae.
Despite everything, the homeowner looked me in the eye and said:
"Let’s still get this roof done."
