The Project:
One of our earliest customers in Rowlett owned a beautiful single-story home topped with 35 solar panels. When we first met, their roof was worn and overdue for a roof replacement. The Insurance Saga:
We filed a claim with Allstate and were initially denied. Not once, but twice. We kept pushing because we knew this homeowner was owed a roof replacement, scheduling multiple inspections with the carrier until we secured full approval for the roof replacement.
But the challenges didn’t stop there:
- The first insurance payment was mailed to the wrong address—an address the homeowner hadn’t lived at in over 12 years.
- Once the new check arrived and we were ready to replace the roof, it had to be endorsed by the mortgage company, adding more delays.
- And during this entire process, the homeowner suffered a serious motorcycle accident, breaking multiple bones from ribs to neck vertebrae.
Despite everything, the homeowner looked me in the eye and said:
"Let’s still get this roof replacement done."
